Essar International School, Hazira was founded on August 30, 1994 under the aegis of Essar Steel Ltd. This co-educational, English medium, higher secondary School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. The School promoted by Shri. Shashi Ruia and Shri. Ravi Ruia was built in the memory of their father and founder President of Essar Shri. Nand Kishore Ruia. The School and the entire township stand as tribute to his vision of the future and its dedication to the society. The dream was to provide modern and progressive education to cater to the need of the employees of Essar and of the people of the nearby areas.
